The Vacuum Thief

Montgomery County authorities are looking for a man suspected of breaking into a Walmart store and stealing two vacuum cleaners.

The Dyson sweepers, valued at a total of nearly $600, were reported stolen Jan. 7 from the store in the 10000 block of Woodlands Parkway in Spring.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect used a crowbar to damage a video game display case and the exit doors to the garden center.

Authorities believe the same suspect may be involved in other thefts from the same location, the a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The suspect, whose arms are covered with tattoos, has several star tattoos on his left forearm and elbow and an American flag on the back of his left arm.

At the time of the incident, he was was wearing a black “Transformer” T-shirt and a Rice University baseball cap.
