Tails grew apart of Sonic over time. Started a family, had grandkids. Really settled down.

I never thought furrys were cool. But, here’s the thing. Any time grandma and grandpa do something that’s cool, it’s not cool anymore! Tattoos, furrys, dyed hair, sexting, transgendering, crocs, etc.
It would have been more cool if it wore it on his head a la Davy Crockett coon fur cap.
Something can’t be “not cool anymore” if is was never so in the first place.
Let’s just hope it’s a tuck-in and not the plug type…
