Honestly, I get it. I have seen similar people out and about in my daily life, and yes, I quietly laughed. It is a natural reaction. But you take it so much further. Why? Sure, some people like to see it. I imagine it makes them feel slightly better about some of the choices they have made in their lives. But imagine how these people in the pictures feel. What if their kids saw it? “Hey Dad, why is your picture on this website? All of these people think you are an idiot. Wow, Dad, you are a terrible person because you dress a little weird.” Seriously guys. And the whole mob mentality in the comments is disgusting. Why do your viewers feel the need to attack these innocent people? I can guarantee that quite a few of them have been spotted looking less than fabulous, but they don’t feel bad about it because no one took a picture of them, posted online and let the masses ridicule them. It really makes me feel sad for our society. Please just think about it. How would you feel if you were searching the internet and came across a picture of your grandma, or someone else that you loved, and there were hundreds of people mocking her? These are people’s mothers, fathers, daughters, sons and friends. This is so hurtful to them. If you had a modicum of empathy you would understand. I am so sad for all you of, your readers and especially the poor people who are the punchline of your hateful jokes.
At least take out the comments. People are so cruel when shrouded in anonymity. They talk as if they are perfect, which we know is far from the truth. I know I am not perfect. Hell, I mock people occasionally. Is it right? No. But I don’t feel the need to embarrass them in front of everyone who has access to a computer. It is really not cool.
