This past Christmas I was next in line to check out when the little boy in the seat of the cart started screaming he wanted a candy bar. He looked to be around 3-4 years old. He kept getting louder and louder and all his mom kept telling him was to be quiet and hush up in a June Cleaver tone of voice. By this time my ears were hurting. When all of a sudden he screamed “I want a fu@#ing candy bar!” I stood there for a moment thinking did I just hear what I thought I heard. When AGAIN he said the same thing. By this time I was tasting blood from biting my tongue so hard trying not to say something. I looked behind me, and yes everyone in the front of the store jaws had dropped to the ground. All his mom kept saying in her same voice as before was “You know we don’t say those kind of words.” She paid for her things and left not even trying to aploigize or look to see who was watching her. I did hear someone in the next lane say they should have said something to the lady.
If I did that when I was little I would have been knocked from one end of the store to the other.
