LA QUINTA– Four people were arrested at a Southern California Walmart this weekend, after police investigators say a “love triangle” fight broke out at the superstore.
Riverside County sheriff’s deputies say three men and a woman were arrested Saturday on assault and vandalism charges, around 1:00 p.m. at the Walmart on Highway 111 in the desert resort community of La Quinta.
Deputies say the three of four involved in thelover’s quarrel were throwing wine bottles at one another in the middle of the store.
The store was not evacuated and deputies say no one was injured.
Jail records indicate that at least two of those arrested, 40-year-old Jose Maria Zambrano and 43-year-old Manuel De La Torre, were released on $25,000 bail Saturday.
